Robert J. Mulhern is the counsel of record in a civil rights case which was of first impression as to checkpoints. This case involved twenty (26) defendants - law enforcement officers; sheriffs and police chiefs; towns, counties, and cities; a district attorney; and a governor, among others. Mr. Mulhern was the attorney of record for a member of the Jamacian Black Mafia. At the time, this organization was the largest distributor of heroin in that city’s history. This case involved a complex drug conspiracy; murders, including of a police officer; and arson, among other violent acts.

Robert J. Mulhern was the counsel of record for federal agents who have been wrongfully terminated, denied
promotions, or wrongfully reprimanded based on discrimination and lack of due process, among other improper reasons.

Mr. Mulhern has also represented businesses and individuals who have been wrongfully targeted by the United States government on terrorism type charges, both criminal and civil. These type of complex litigation cases are not only national in scope, but also international.
